Today was our first appointment with Dr. Patel.. I went with my son and we both were very nervous as always when we go to dentist.. when we came out , my son asked me mom why didn’t you bring me here before this one was my best dental experience ever. That just made my life easier since I don’t have to convince him for weeks to go to dentist. I myself had a very pleasant experience, the whole team was very friendly and welcoming. The facility was very clean and organized. Dr. Patel was very professional and did awesome job that I won’t be nervous to go to dentist again. She is very patient, knowledgeable and caring. She made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommended. One of the best experience for both me and my son. 😊

I visited Dr. Mittal Patel for a dental cleaning and had a really good experience. She took the time to check everything thoroughly and explained what she was seeing, which I appreciated. The cleaning itself was gentle but very effective — my teeth looked and felt noticeably cleaner afterward. The clinic is clean and the staff is friendly, which made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. Definitely recommend her if you're looking for a dentist you can trust.

I had an exceptional experience at Dr. Patel's dental office for my cleaning appointment! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. DDS James Lai has retired. I came for my regular cleaning and his replacement DDS Mittal Patel cleaned my teeth today. She did a great job. I mentioned to her my chipped front tooth and she made a perfect repair right then in 10 minutes. I will be coming back as a regular customer.

I found him by chance. I have been to many dentists, majority stated to be gentle...that was NEVER the case. To the point it caused me to use nitrous oxide to relax, and a form of anxiety medication. Dr Lai has been the absolute BEST dentist ever for me. Never once did I feel any pain. He is very professional, and honest. The facility is absolutely clean...The staff is above normal! I have, also will continue to refer anyone/everyone to him!

Just had to come on here and show Dr. Lai (& his son Dr. Greg) some love for being the best dentist and for also putting up with me lol. I admit I am not an easy patient, but Dr. Lai and his team haven’t abandoned me yet! I actually have trauma from dealing with bad dentists which is what caused me to not seek any treatment for 2 years during which my teeth suffered tremendously, but Dr. Lai accepted me into his practice with open arms. He’s actually next door to the WORST dentist I’ve ever been to (Dr. Banerjee), so I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m so glad I gave him a try. He is MILES better than she was and him and his entire staff are so much friendlier (and more skilled). The first visit/consultation is so informative. I believe it’s usually done by Dr. Greg (his son) who takes full digital X-rays of your teeth and uploads them onto a monitor that’s right next to you so that he can thoroughly explain any issues that might be going on with your teeth and what you can do to fix them. He’s very good at explaining what he sees on the xrays and answering any questions you might have. He also has these demonstrative pictures and videos that he shows you to help explain what certain things are (ie procedures, etc). It’s super helpful in helping patients understand what he’s talking about. I’ve had work done by both doctors and they’re both very skilled. I love that this is a family practice with the mom sometimes working the front desk, though usually another woman works it, but they’re both very friendly and welcoming. Really can’t recommend this place enough. It’s in a nice area of town, is easy to get to, is kept very clean, has all the latest tech and equipment, has 2 very skilled dentists and skilled assistances, everyone is friendly and puts up with my constant tardiness lol (sorry!). Definitely try this place out and don’t let yourself get jaded by all the less than stellar dentists out there! Even got my dad to switch to them after being dissatisfied with his current dentist. There ARE good dentists out there, and Dr. Lai and Dr. Greg are 2 of them!

I found Dr Lai a few years ago and moved away. Needless to say, I came back. He is totally worth the drive. He’s an amazing dentist, the entire staff is so great. I feel completely comfortable with them. Have recommended him to several people and they are all very happy with his services, too.

The office staff seem nice enough. I have medi-cal, so I never feel valued as a patient. The technician Michelle was very nice. Dr Lai is ok, he doesn't really tell you what he's about to do or what he is doing. I like to know what's going on inside my mouth. Just lowers the chair or starts flossing without any notice. I like my Dr to say, ok now I'm lowering your chair. It was startling. The cleaning did not seem very thorough, and took less time than the 18 or so x-rays they took. He did say my teeth looked great. Last year a dentist I went to said I had 3 cavities that needed to be filled. Dr Lai did not see those cavities. I also didn't tell him about these supposed cavities because I like my doctor's to find things on their own, not get told by the patient what's wrong. So he's not bad, but still not my favorite.
